nargleowl asked: Hi. I live in north Texas, and one day I was walking by a lake. I looked into the water near the edge, and floating in the water and sort of washed up against a tree root, there was this gigantic, dead, yellow and black wasp. It was probably around 6 inches long (though I didn't measure it). Is it possible that there are gigantic 6 inch wasps flying around in Texas? Or perhaps maybe the wasp that I saw had become swollen with water? What do you think it was that I saw?

well, my first guess would be Cicada Killer, which is a huge wasp… 6 in long? are you sure about that?
