… a species of sea snail, a “bubble snail” (family Aplustridae). This bubble snail’s distribution is circumglobal in tropical waters. They live in shallow water, crawling and burrowing into the sand, feeding on polychaete worms, mussels and slugs. The shell is thin, globose and fragile. There is no operculum. The large foot has lateral parapodia (fleshy winglike flaps). The large body cannot be fully retracted into its shell. Shell height is up to 57 mm, and the width is up to 46 mm. (via: Wikipedia)
