Boyd’s forest dragon (Hypsilurus boydii), Daintree National Park, Queensland, Australia
Boyd’s forest dragon is a nocturnal arboreal lizard, which is only found in the rainforests of north eastern Queensland, Australia. It has very distinctive scales on the back of its head and is brightly colored with pinkish scales on its cheeks and a yellow pouch under its neck.
