Eastern Indigo Snakes Documented in New Area

Here is some exciting news - yesterday Dirk Stevenson documented an Eastern Indigo Snake at a public land within the Altamaha River Basin, in central Alabama, USA. Up until now, Indigo Snakes had not been verified from this property. The snake was a gorgeous 2-year old male in good condition, right at five feet in length! It is such a great feeling to find a healthy indigo in the wild!
