Protecting Threatened Blanding’s Turtles

How does a Blanding’s turtle cross the road and get to Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge? With the help of conservationists, who are relocating young turtles to the MA refuge from an area where the state-threatened species is abundant. The refuge is ideally suited for a new colony, but busy roads block the turtles from getting there without human help.
