Green Anoles (Anolis carolinensis) mating in the park where I work, Houston, TX, USA. Females usually have some sort of prominent stripe down the back. Males are larger, have longer snouts, and have a pink dewlap (throat fan), which they unfurl for territorial and courtship displays. Males, like all lizards, also have hemipenes (2 pronged penises), so that they can hit it from either side.
