Rough-scaled Sand Boa (Gonglyophis conicus)
This nocturnal burrowing member of the family Boidae (the Boas) is found in habitats with sandy soil in India and Pakistan They attain a length of up to 3 1/3 ft (1 m). They are non venomous, and feed on a variety of small animals.
