Least Tern (Sternula antillarum) chicks rest in their sand nest on the beach along the Gulf Coast of Alabama, USA.
These last few weekends of summer when you head outside, be sure to watch out for nesting birds. Share the beaches and islands, respect posted nesting areas, and give the birds some distance to nest and raise their young without disturbance.
